When I was searching for a name for my quilt company, I knew 2 things. I wanted something contemporary and something about color with which I am obsessed! I googled several words and looked for synonyms. Chroma is defined by google as "purity or intensity of color." THAT'S IT! What is more pure and original than quilting with clothing and used articles? What is more intense than the sorrow of a loss, the memories of a time, or the experiences we keep close to our hearts? I had truly found my business name, my brand, and my calling. My first quilt was out of love, sorrow, and sympathy, and it started the business the whole business.
